A workshop based on myofascial training, which will be integrated with pilates matwork exercises. We will begin the session playing between basic mobility exercises and using spiky ball self massage techniques to help release and rehydrate the connective tissues in the body, with particular focus around the hips and spine. Then we'll build up to some challenging, full body movement sequences that will develop strength and flexibility across all the myofascial meridians. It will be a dynamic, energising practice to promote resilience within the body’s structures.
(N.B. not suitable for those with no pilates experience or those who aren’t comfortable in four-point kneeling. All others welcome and modifications can be made for those with lesser injuries).
