This is a practical workshop aimed at qualified Reformer Pilates teachers looking to better apply their existing knowledge and skills to the teaching of group Reformer classes with anything from 3 to 8 clients. It will start with a short warm-up class and draw on exercises from the Reformer 1 course, focussing on how to smooth the transition from 1:1 teaching to managing multiple bodies on machines. You will come away with new repertoire ideas to allow you to plan more flowing classes and adapt more easily for mixed level groups. However, most crucially we will consider how to use the Reformer in a more malleable way so you can continue developing your own ideas, just as you would on the mat. This workshop is also ideal for Reformer-qualified teachers who may want to better understand how they could teach and develop these classes at some point in the future.
