NB this workshop is open to teachers, body workers and intermediate/advanced pilates and yoga practitioners
We’ll start with a short introduction to Slings Myofascial Training to explain a little about the anatomy and reasoning behind the techniques. I’ll be sharing how this approach has informed my movement practice and teaching over the last few years and giving you some food for thought to take away. Slings takes clear inspiration from Pilates and yoga but teaches it with a different intention and incorporates self-massage techniques for better bodywide balance.
This masterclass will combine some theory and ideas on how you can tweak the way you move but most importantly you will also partake in a fluid, dynamic class where we will put down the notepads and just experience it!
(NB I will provide a list of recommended reading material and online links that I use as reference points and learning tools, however, this class won’t come with a handout; although you’re welcome to take notes should you want to)
